2012 Masters

When You are working on your game, You hit only two kinds of putts: those you think you are going to make and really long ones.

You probably spend 95 percent of your putting practice inside eight feet. You pick short putts that break and hit them in from different angles. The long ones are crucial for learning distance control and how to get the ball on line. It’s good for you feel to see the ball breaking toward the cup (long putts), and it’s helpful for your confidence to hear the ball going in (short putts)
