Your ball landed into a fairway bunker with steep lip and you are having difficulty getting it out.
Use a more level swing to help maintain the distance of the shot and to utilize the natural loft of the club.
Use a middle iron, hybrid, or even a fairway wood to help get it out. Setup with the ball placed a little more forward in your stance than you usually do with this club. Swing the club a lot like you normally would play it but keep your weight on the trailing side a little longer than usual. Remember to keep the clubhead level to the ground as you would with your driver through impact because you will not need to disturb the sand very much during this swing.
