Some say golf and sex are the only things you can enjoy without being really good at them. Perhaps this leads us to our next thought: both pursuits also help you get to know the person you are with, much quicker than years of casual time spent together. In golf, taller men tend to have an advantage over shorter ones. Just like in bed – you never think you have it long enough (think about it, both sexes). But remember, although length is important, it can be overrated. In both, modern technology has made it easier for those who are not very good, to get to the hole as effortlessly as possible. Men are always trying to figure out how to score better and women tend to sense that a relaxed man works better. On both occasions, fear of success and guilt are mental obstacles that need to be overcome in order for one to perform at one’s best, and control over mind and body, as well as emotions, are critical to achieving maximum performance.
